(Prince George’s County, MD)  —  Prince George’s County firefighters responded to a report of a strong, pungent odor in the emergency room area of Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton Monday night.  Waiting room and emergency room patients were relocated to an unaffected area of the hospital while fire department personnel and a hazardous materials unit tried to find the source of the smell.  Fire edepartment spokesman Mark Brady says that the smell was traced to the building’s propane storage tanks.  The odor dissipated late last night and no injuries were reported.
