(Upper Marlboro, MD)  — The Prince George’s County School Board is set to vote on some of the steepest budget cuts the county has faced in years.  Superintendent William Hite is tasked with finding 155 million dollars in cuts .  He’s proposed cutting hundreds of jobs and is ready to close the Camp Schmidt Outdoor Education Center in Brandywine.  The job cuts will affect guidance counselors, JROTC instructers, media specialists, and pre-kindergarten teachers.  The final vote will be taken tonight, though residents will get one last chance to ask members to avoid cutting in certain places.
