(Washington, DC)  —  Expect delays on Metro this weekend as crews carry out work on the Red, Blue and Orange Lines.  On the Red Line, add 20-minutes of travel time between the Friendship Heights and Van Ness-UDC stations as crews replace fasteners and repair tunnel leaks.  In addition, there will be delays between the New York Avenue-Florida Avenue-Gallaudet U and Rhode Island Avenue-Brentwood Metrorail stations.  Orange Line customers should also allow an extra 20 minutes of travel time between the East Falls Church and West Falls Church stations as Metro replaces rail and insulators.  On the Blue Line, add a half-hour between the Stadium-Armory and Addison Road-Seat Pleasant stations so Metro can replace concrete slabs underneath the rails.  There will also be 30-minute delays between the Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street stations because of maintenance work related to the Wilson Bridge Project.
