(Prince George’s County, MD) — The Prince George’s County Emergency Operations Center says two buildings have been condemned because of structural damage from yesterday’s earthquake in central Virginia . The buildings at 3208 Curtis Drive and 3103 Good Hope Avenue are both in the Hillcrest Heights section of Temple Hills. Residents of the Top of the Hill apartments say it was a frightening experience. The Hillcrest Heights Community Center was opened for hundreds of residents displaced from their apartments. A structural engineer will further evaluate the buildings today.
