POSITION:

Community Center Site Director

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Level One Personnel, Inc.
Lanham, MD

A Site Director for a Community Services organization is needed in Seat Pleasant, MD.


Programs include children, youth initiatives, adult and senior programs.



Responsibilities:


Plan and direct all aspects of a community center’s programs and services.

Serve as liaison between community center and rental office.

Work with rental office, identify residents who need special assistance and conduct action and follow-up plan.

Hire and supervise community center employees.

Collect and analyze data/compile and generate reports.

Conduct safety evacuation drills monthly.

Requirements:


B.A. in a social science field. Experience with community based organizations may substitute degree.

Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing the conduct of various recreational program/events.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to plan and supervise the work of subordinates and volunteers.

Knowledge of office practices to include bookkeeping, statistical reporting and budgeting.
