R. Kelly and his ex-wife divorced back in January 2009 and according to documents after they divorced, Drea Kelly agreed to not talk about their marriage after their divorce was final. R. Kelly team sent an order to the judge for Drea to stop speaking on anything that was related to their marriage. In the document it states nothing personal should be discussed it says, “any account of their private lives, business activities, relationship with each other, marriage or circumstances surrounding the dissolution”. Drea Kelly did disobey the agreement, on the show Growing up Hip Hop, she did discuss their marriage. In his criminal case, he has been charged with sexual abuse of four women, three being underage.
