Johnny Dang aka TV Johnny is Houston’s jeweler to the stars. Either you go to Johnny for a grill or, say in DaBaby‘s instance, you pull up on him to drop $250,000 in new diamond pieces and chains. And he’s been name-dropped by his famous friends such as Paul Wall, Z-Ro, Young Dolph and more.
GQ Magazine recently caught up with Johnny and had him break down some of the more insane pieces that he keeps in the vault.
“My father and grandfather were jewelers,” Dang says of the family history in the jewel business. “When I came to Houston, I worked in a flea market in jewelry repair. I then moved into Sharpstown Mall in Southwest Houston and that’s where I started making grills.”
