Congratulations are in order for our Native Son, World Champion, and the DMV’s own (PG County) Kevin Durant for opening the Durant Center on Wednesday in Suitland, Maryland. The after school facility opened with an inaugural class of 69 local students. The center is geared to give students the financial, academic, social, and emotional resources to aid with college and career development. Durant partnered with College Track with a 10 year plan to help youth from their early teens with tutoring and scholarships. Salute to KD and continued success!
