UPDATED: The Amber Alert has been canceled after Kingston and Karina Perry was found safe.

Authorities said they responded to the 700 block of West Side Drive in Gaithersburg for the report of a domestic-related stabbing. The victim, who officials said is Dwight Perry’s girlfriend, was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the stabbing, Dwight Perry fled the scene with the children, according to officials.

Karina Perry was found at a daycare in the 2700 block of Philben Drive in Adelphi while Kingston Perry was located at a relative’s home in the 6000 block of Riggs Road in Hyattsville, police said.

Incident Summary: On behalf of the Montgomery County Police Department, an Amber Alert is being activated for a missing 9 year old black male and an 18 month old black female. Child # 1: Kingston Perry, B/M, 5/13/2009, 4-0, 60 pounds, Black hair and Brown eyes. Unknown clothing at this time. Child # 2: Karina Noel Perry, B/F, 12/20/2016, 2-0, 30 pounds, Black hair and Brown eyes. Unknown clothing at this time.
