Joseph Jackson, the patriarch of the famous Jackson family, has died. We learned that Joe Jackson had been hospitalized back in June with terminal pancreatic cancer. Sources say his family including his wife, Katherine, has been by his bedside since then.
Joe Jackson was the ultimate stage dad that took his family from poverty in Gary, Indiana by launching the musicals careers of his 5 boys to create the Jackson 5 as well as the iconic careers of Michael and Janet Jackson.
Joe Jackson was 89 years old.
