Today is International No Diet Day.  May 6th marks a day of self-love and acceptance of one’s body and image.  Here are a few points from the National Eating Disorder Association to help you focus on your image and not what other people say it should be:

  • Appreciate all that your body can do.
  • Remind yourself…Beauty is a state of mind, not a state of your body.
  • Surround yourself with positive people
  • Use the time and energy that you might have spent worrying about food, calories, and your weight to do something to help others.
