A 27-year-old college student, Sibongile Mani, received $1,080,000 instead of $108 monthly financial aid allowance and takes friends on shopping spree.

Mani attends Walter Sisulu University in South Africa and was caught 2 months after receiving the wrong amount of direct deposit from a financial aid agency.

She spent $65,000 of the $1 million received, living a lifestyle of the rich and famous attending first class parties and flying her friends in for events she wouldn’t be able to afford.

Mani took to Facebook to express concerns of fearing for her life but also told reporters “It’s very clear that I didn’t make the error.”

She has since fled the school and could face a theft charge.
