With only three months left until trial, Bill Cosby is having issues retaining the attorney dream-team that helped plant a seed of doubt in jurors of the mistrial declared on charges of sexual assault against Andrea Constand.
Los Angeles lawyer Angela Agrusa filed documents on Tuesday requesting to be removed from Cosby’s upcoming retrial. You may remember we reported earlier this month lead defense lawyer Brian McMonagle also removing himself from the case.
Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill has set a hearing for Aug. 22 to discuss that request but Agrusa is asking to delay that hearing until Sept. 11.
