45-year-old Novette has a 20 year old daughter who just had her first-born in January. Since the daughter stays with at home with her, and the father is away at college, Novette notices that every other day it seems the daughter is asking her to babysit. She knows her daughter is only 20 and still needs a life, but she has a life too.
Novette fears telling her no will result in the baby being dropped off with relatives who aren’t as responsible. Novette is asking, what’s the best way to get her daughter to realize going out often is no longer an option without making her feel like a prisoner?
