Markeeta has been single the majority of her adult life. She’s never had a close relationship with other females and while she’s had several boyfriends, none lasted longer than a year. She doesn’t have a problem with not being in a relationship, but now that she’s approaching 40, Markeeta feels weird eating at a table for 1 and last year she didn’t go anywhere for vacation because she had no one to go with.

Tonight, Markeeta is asking, how do you become comfortable doing things alone? Does her lack of comfort doing things alone really mean that she doesn’t really want to be alone? What advice would you offer to Markeeta?
