Michelle Obama Addresses White House's Veterans Homelessness Summit

In her farewell interview with Oprah Winfrey, First Lady Michelle Obama spoke on the many roles as a First Lady, wife and mother.  As a leader, in her own right, Michelle Obama has accomplished many things, to include her campaign for Childhood Obesity.  If we were to take a chapter out of her book on how to navigate through challenges her advice “Keep it Moving,” a life lesson from her mother, Marian Shields Robinson.  Michelle Obama’s lesson for women, especially young women, “Live Out Loud – what’s in your brain is really useful, do not hide it, don’t dumb it down, don’t apologize for it just put in on the table and let people deal with it.”  When Oprah asked Mrs. Obama what her parting prayer is for our country, she said “hope” and “ find a place in our hearts for others.” Thank you First Lady, job well done!
