After a long battle with Cancer, famed NBA broadcaster Craig Sager has passed away. Sager is known for being a sideline reporter for Turner Sports’NBA broadcasts. His signature colorful suits and his cool demeanor while interviewing some of the NBA’s greatest players and coaches were some of the highlights during games.

Sager’s broadcasting career started in the early 1970’s and he was one of the first people to interview legendary Baseball player Hank Aaron after hitting his 715th home run, breaking Babe Ruth’s long-standing record.

In 2015 Sager was presented with the Jimmy V Award, named after famed College Basketball coach Jim Valvano.

Sager died from complications from Leukemia. He was 65.
