Traci and Edmond are both 30 and began dating in April of this year. They spent thanksgiving visiting Traci’s family in N.Y. Edmond had planned on taking Traci to his parent’s annual Christmas party, but over Thanksgiving Edmond learned his parents have invited his ex-girlfriend to the party. She and Edmond were together for 3 years.
Edmond’s mother said she really likes his ex and will not uninvite her because they broke up. Edmond thinks Traci’s relationship with his mom will get off to a bad start if his ex is still in the picture. Edmond is wondering if he should say something else to his mom or just attend with his new girl and hope for the best? Is his mom wrong for extending the invite without asking him first?
