With Kobe Bryant‘s last game on the horizon, Apple took some time to praise the Black Mamba, and poke a bit of fun at the same time.

In Apple’s latest commercial, 35-year-old Kobe is hanging out in his trailer with the “Ghost of Lakers‘ Past,” which happens to be a 17-year-old Mamba played by Michael B. Jordan.

The two are discussing a possible biopic on the legendary Laker. To inspire MBJ, Kobe shows him some old clips of his prime. Mike has a different way of prepping for his role, and would rather watch scenes from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Kobe thinks the movie will be about a rising star who never stops rising, while Michael thinks it’s about an aging athlete suffering an inevitable decline thanks to Father Time. Kobe then promptly kicks Michael B. Jordan out of his trailer.
