Roland Martin talks to Steve Perry, the principal of Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut. The pair talk about the controversial bill passed in California that will guarantee a teacher a job for life, despite their effectiveness in the classroom.

“You can apply for a job for life just after two years of employment and become tenured in California. As an administrator it can take me two years to remove an incompetent teacher from that position,” Perry said.
