After the Montreal CanadiensP.K. Subban scored the game-winning goal last night during its match against the Boston Bruins, Bruins fans took to Twitter to express their racist disdain for the African-American hockey player.

When NewsOne searched Twitter for some of the racist tweets that got “N*gger” trending, we could not find them because they were likely deleted. But CBS Detroit was able to find a few and we took a screenshot of what they found:

The Boston Bruins President Cam Neely issued the following statement regarding the tweets:

“The racist, classless views expressed by an ignorant group of individuals following Thursday’s game via digital media are in no way a reflection of anyone associated with the Bruins organization.”
