More Than 300 Texting Arrests In Virginia

(Richmond, VA) — Virginia State Police report 328 arrests since a law banning texting while driving went into effect. They say that’s an average of between three and four drivers a day during the period from July 1st through September 28th. A total of 171 tickets have been handed out in Northern Virginia, mostly along Interstates 95 and 395.
