(Washington, DC) — Metro will start running its trains an hour earlier than usualtomorrow morning because of the running of the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon and the Navy Five-Miler. The system will open at 6 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. The closest stop to the start of the race is the Smithsonian station on the Blue and Orange lines. Participants are urged to make sure there is enough value on their SmarTrip or paper fare cards for an entire round trip.
