Things are definitely looking up for RGIII. The quarterback for the Washington Football Team recently opened up to ESPN’s Trey Wingo about his injury last season. Griffin who suffered a torn LCL, ACL, and meniscus, has been recovering and according to his doctor, his recovery is “ahead of schedule” says the athlete.

Griffin told Wingo that he planned to wait as long as necessary and allow his knew to fully heal. His coach as well as Griffin stress that they believed he was ready to play in the NFC game against Seattle that led to the injury but realize they could have handled the situation better. However, responsibility for the decision to allow him to continue playing has been disputed. Click here for more on RGIII.

In additional Washington Football Team news, the team re-signed DeAngelo Hall last night after previously releasing him. The cornerback signed a one-year contract. The signing is one of six including: Fred Davis, Kedric Golston, Sav Rocca, Tyler Polumbus, Kory Lichtensteiger, and Bryan Kehl.
