As you know, DC is one of the largest US markets with HIV positive residents. This is an epidemic and MAJIC 102.3 are taking steps to help our listeners. We have launched a campaign called “KNOW YOUR STATUS”. We are asking our listeners to “GET TESTED FOR TICKETS”! We will make weekly appearances on Tuesdays during the month of December, “GET TESTED TUESDAYS”, as you get tested, you receive a free pair of tickets to our “CONCERT FOR LIFE!” ON 12/21 featuring DC’s own CHUCK BROWN!
We kick off today with an appearance from 4-6p with Cortney Hicks at the Family and Medical Counseling Service Center, 2041 Martin Luther King Drive SE in DC. We are encouraging our listeners of all ages to GET TESTED FOR TICKETS!
And remember The DC Department of Health wants you to Ask for an HIV Test when you visit your doctor . Call 311, text DCTest to 61827 or visit dctakesonhiv.com
This holiday season, get the gift of knowledge by taking an HIV test and earn a free ticket to see Chuck Brown and more live at the 9:30 Club!
The DC Department of Health has partnered with Radio One to present the Know Your Status Holiday Jam.
