(Fairfax Co., VA)  —  A Fairfax County school band director has been charged with soliciting a teenager online. Forty-three-year-old Michael Cook was placed on administrative leave after his arrest last week.  He is assigned to Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, which has more than four-thousand students.

Police say the alleged victim was not a student at the school and was not under Cook’s supervision.  Police have not released any further information about the alleged incident.  Cook is scheduled to appear in Fairfax District Court for a hearing this morning.
