(Washington, DC)  — President Obama is changing his Congressional address on the economy by one day. Obama will address a joint session of Congress on September 8th rather than next Wednesday.  He’ll  lay out his plans for jobs and the economy.  The original date conflicted with the scheduled Republican Party Presidential debate in California.  In a letter, House Speaker John Boehner requested the change, telling Obama that would ensure there will be no parliamentary or logistical impediments that might detract from his remarks.
