(Silver Spring, MD)  —  An investigation is underway in Montgomery County after a man Tasered by police there died.  Police say a vial of suspected liquid PCP was found in his car, and a woman who was with him admitted they had been using drugs.  It started shortly before 10:30 last night when authorities were called to an accident on the median of southbound Route 29 approaching Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring.  Fire and Rescue personnel tried to pull a 40-year-old man from the driver’s seat, but as they did, he became combative.  Police stepped in, and when the driver continued to resist, an officer Tasered him so they could take him into custody.  The man was then rushed to Suburban Hospital where he died.  The woman who was with him in the car was not injured.
