(Washington, DC) — Temperatures in the 90’s and increasing humidity are heading back into the DC area this week. The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments is forecasting Code Orange air quality conditions today through Thursday. The high heat and humidity, coupled with pollution, means the air will be unhealthy today for certain groups, including the very young, the elderly and those with respiratory problems. Those in the sensitive groups should stay indoors as much as possible.
