Chris Brown was reportedly open and candid when he sat down with Larry King Live Wednesday.

Answering every question laid out before him, sources close to E! say the embattled singer’s interview could air as early as next week.

According to E!, Brown sat down with Larry King at CNN’s Hollywood headquarters Wednesday, just one day after he was sentenced on felony assault charges.

There is no word as to whether Brown was asked questions related to -now- confirmed instances of domestic violence between he and Rihanna prior to February’s attack.

In reports issued after his sentencing Tuesday, Brown was quoted as telling investigators that he “does not want to carry on that cycle (of abuse).”

Soulful singer Ledisi has just been confirmed as a featured performer at this year’s NAACP Theatre Awards.

Taking place August 31, the 19th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards are expected to honor both Audra McDonald (Trailblazer Award) and Tichina Arnold (Spirit Award) in addition other nominated professionals.

Ledisi, fresh off the release of her sophomore release, titled “Turn Me Loose,” joins previously announced hosts Loretta Devine and Terry Crews.
