(New York, NY) — It looks as if Jay-Z is gearing up for an appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” According to MTV.com, the rap superstar recently met with the Queen of Talk for an interview that’s presumed to be a part of an upcoming segment on Oprah’s show. The interview took place over the weekend at Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects on the steps outside of the building where Jay-Z’s grandmother used to live. Jay-Z is prepping for the release of his next album, “The Blueprint 3,” on September 11th, and has been very busy promoting the project. It was also announced that he, Rihanna and Kanye West will be the first musical guests on the new “Jay Leno Show,” set to premiere September 14th on NBC.
