Both Victims Were Raped, Beaten
(Bethesda, MD) — Police say both women were raped and beaten in a brutal attack over the weekend inside the Lululemon Athletica yoga store on Bethesda Row . It’s the first time that police have acknowledged that 30-year-old Jayna Murray of Arlington was in fact beaten to death. The “Washington Post” reports police do have forensic evidence taken from inside the store on Bethesda Avenue, but they are still missing video surveillance images of the two suspects. Montgomery County Police Chief Thomas Manger also says they believe the attack was random in nature and that the two women were not targeted. A 136-thousand-dollar reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
