Chris Brown is being welcomed back to a stage by “Saturday Night Live.” After last weekend, when Nicki Minaj gave the show it’s second-highest ratings of the season, the sketch comedy show set it’s eyes on another urban artist.
Chris Brown will appear for his first time on the show on the February 12 episode, hosted by Russell Brand – interestingly enough, Brand is the husband of Rihanna’s best friend, Katy Perry. We wonder if the two men will have words.
“SNL” cast member Kenan Thompson has been looking forward to this moment for some time now. Back in 2009, following the domestic violence incident, he said, “It’s not up to me, but I’m sure we would [book him] if he had another hit single. We don’t care about scandal. We just care about what brings us ratings!”
Chris Brown will likely perform “No Bullsh*t” and “Yeah 3X,” since the two tracks have made the top 5 on the Billboard Urban Mainstream Chart, and Mainstream Top 40 Chart, respectively.
