Franklin, 68, cancelled the concerts last month, having spent a week in Detroit’s Sinai-Grace Hospital for a “serious illness”.
A prayer vigil was held in Detroit for Franklin yesterday. In a statement, Franklin thanked the City Council, saying “all prayers are good”.
