(Washington, DC) — Two Metro station managers are being accused of sleeping on the job. The watchdog website “Unsuck DC Metro” has posted two rider photos of what appear to be Metro managers sleeping in their chairs at the Ballston and Columbia Heights stations. These Metro passengers say the pictures are disturbing.
Metro says sleeping while on duty is unacceptable and they would like to speak to the riders who took the photos as they investigate the matter. For now the employees remain on the job.
