Today Baltimore fired it’s police commissioner Anthony Batts in the aftermath of the unrest and riots that followed the death of Freddy Gray, an unarmed black man in police custody.
Batts had drawn widespread criticism for his response to the riots, which the police’s union said in a report was “preventable”.
