I’ve got something on my heart and I want to share it. I’m not “fresher than you.” I’m not a part of the “in crowd.” I can’t boast about how I’m real friends with celebrities. In most circles I am a straight up square peg; but I’m good with me so I don’t bother fitting in. I consider myself an ordinary girl, from Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, that has been blessed with extraordinary opportunities. Sometimes I look around and wonder how I slipped through the cracks. I whisper to myself, “Do they realize they let me in?” I am YOU.
