Barack

It’s the speech America has been waiting to hear, however four of the major networks have decided not to air it.

The White House announced yesterday that President Obama will be giving his long-awaited speech on immigration reform from the White House at 8 PM EST tonight. For TV viewers, that is right in the middle of several winter finales including ABC’s Grey Anatomy, CBS’s The Big Bang Theory and NBC’s The Biggest Loser.

Cable networks FoxNews, MSNBC and CNN will be broadcasting the speech. However, the administration will hit its targeted audience as it was announced that Spanish-language channel Univision will air the speech. As of now, only one of the major networks has responded. ABC has said although the speech not airing on network television, the speech will be available on all of the ABC digital news platforms, AppleTV and radio. President Obama is expected to announce the biggest clemency for undocumented immigrants in a generation.
