Jordan Zimmermann of the Washington Nationals pitched the first no-hitter in team history this afternoon in a 1-0 defeat of the Miami Marlins. And while Zimmermann’s performance was tremendous, the feat was preserved by an even more remarkable play to preserve it. Reserve outfielder Steven Souza Jr. made a diving catch to get the last out off of what appeared to be an extra base hit by Miami batter Christian Yelich.
