After 38 days on the run, police have arrested Davon Wallace in Southeast D.C. this morning. Wallace is a suspect in the fatal shooting of three-year-old Knijah Bibb in Landover, MD last month. He is awaiting murder charges and is expected to be extradited back to Prince George’s County authorities.

According to WUSA 9:

Police spent more than a month searching for Davon Wallace for the shooting death of three-year-old Knijah Bibb in Landover on August 10.

Wallace was captured by D.C. police officers at an apartment on Jasper Road in Southeast, D.C. at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Two adults and four small children were also in the home at the time.
