My Woman Crush this Wednesday is “Electric Lady” Janelle Monae. She’s beautiful, talented and uniquely stylish. What I love most about Miss Monae is she seems to be completely comfortable in her own skin. She’s not afraid to be herself and that authenticity manifests in her music. As gorgeous as she is, Janelle doesn’t lead with her sexuality. And I totally appreciate the effort it takes to find a million and one ways to wear black and white without boring her fans!
