(Washington, DC)  —  A DC jail suicide watch has been ordered for a woman charged with first-degree felony murder in the death of her baby.  Twenty-six-year-old Sosefina Amoa appeared in court for the first time on Friday and was ordered held.  The judge agreed with an assistant U.S. attorney that she is a danger to the community.  Prosecutors say Amoa smothered her newborn son October 10th after hiding her pregnancy from nuns at the Little Sisters of the Poor on Harewood Road in Northeast DC.  Amoa was trying to become a nun at the time.
