I had a chance to hang behind the scenes for many episodes of the original Arsenio Hall show. I remember watching J. Anthony Brown mouth the jokes behind the curtain and wait for the laughs from the audience, as he was a writer for the show back then. My favorite episode was the Prince appearance, mainly because Arsenio did his closing break in front of me to give me some camera time. LOL.
