I had the honor of hosting a Go-Go art exhibition at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. This was an all white event. As the host, I wanted to participate in the theme but as an individual I rarely do all white. I was faced with the challenge of being true to my personal style while being participatory. I opted to wear all black and make a statement with a white boyfriend blazer. It wasn’t exactly planned, but when I realized my outfit was chez 80’s, I kept the theme cohesive by selecting 80’s inspired jewelry.
