(Undated)  —  One might think that texting helps to make thumb muscles stronger but that’s not the case.  Kristin Crow, an occupational therapist and hand specialist says texting injuries are similar to sports injuries. There are some stretching exercises that can help.  Really, though, Crow says, the best thing to do is just take a break. Crowe says, just like with other injuries, you can ice your thumbs.  There are some exercises we can do as well.
