(Washington, DC)  —  Metro’s multi-year rebuilding effort continues this weekend with track work on the Red, Blue and Orange lines.  From ten tonight until the system’s Sunday closing, buses will replace trains on the Red line between NoMa-Gallaudet and Silver Spring so riders should add about 30-minutes to their travel time.  On the Orange and Blue lines, trains will operate every 16-minutes throughout the weekend as crews work on fastener renewal and ceiling tile replacement between McPherson Square and Smithsonian stations.  There is no scheduled work this weekend on the Green or Yellow lines.
