British singing sensation, Lianne La Havas, recently performed at the legendary 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. LSAW knew La Havas would be good but she far exceeded any expectations. The multi-instrumentalist belted out tunes from her debut CD, “Is Your Love Big Enough?“, with the passion of a new artist and the style of a seasoned veteran. Not since Erykah Badu has LSAW seen an artist so able to enthral her audience during a live performance. Lianne has a powerful voice and uses it economically; so the impact is felt when she decides to show her ware. Assuming La Havas can only get better, this girl is gonna blow up.
