Radio One of Washington DC (93.9 WKYS, Majic 102.3, Praise 104.1, WOL 1450 AM & WYCB 1340) will unite with members of the community and Prince George’s County Leaders to boldly take a stand against youth violence and crime with a State of Emergency “Live” Town Hall Meeting on Monday, February 25th, 2013 located 5600 Regency Lane, Forestville, MD from 6p-8p.
Six Prince George’s County Public School students have been viciously murdered this school year, two of the students from Suitland High School were killed within 24-hours of each other. This “Live” Town Hall Meeting will bring members of the community and county leaders together to take immediate action and stop this epidemic of senseless violence against our youth. The event will be hosted by 93.9 WKYS personalities Angie Ange & Big G; aka Anwan Glover and Majic 102.3 personalities Cortney Hicks & Adimu. They will be joined by Maryland State Attorney Angela Alsobrooks, Prince George’s County Police Chief Mark Magaw, students, and community leaders
