Plenty of panic and confusion as a green line metro riders experienced some scary moments during yesterday’s commute home.
Hundreds of riders were trapped in trains stuck underground, with dozens of them opting to climb out and enter the tunnels. And once the trains made it to the stations, there was severe crowding and confusion as even larger numbers of passengers became stranded on the streets around Navy Yard/Ballpark, Anacostia and other Metro stops.
