As 2012 wines down, our iPods are refreshed with tons of fourth quarter music from artists trying to make a bid for the new year. While we’ve heard some tunes that are bump-worthy, some discs will serve better as coasters.

Check out this weeks music roundup:

The last song I heard by Eve…lets just say, I was not impressed! I am still hopeful that the former pit bull in a skirt will not allow her title to slip down to chihuahua in a dress but with these last releases…faith is slowly fading. E-V-E freestyled over Brandy’s infectious single “Put It Down” but failed to meet its level of fresh.

Listen for yourself:

The Dream, who I am convinced is The Weeknd’s long-lost brother, released a melancholy ballad titled “Tender Tendencies.” I know what you’re thinking, someone call the alliteration police, but before you do, listen to Terrius’ attempt at a comeback. We ain’t mad…

Press play, below:

Ciara‘s career isn’t looking so “Sorry” with the release of two popular tracks that have put the dancing queen back into relevancy. With Future, fresh off Rihanna’s hot “Loveeee Song” added his flavor to the redemption track.
